Read my guide below to
ensure you come to class wearing the correct
clothing/shoes to make
sure you get the best out of the session!
For all
classes you need to wear clothing that is comfortable, that moves with you
easily and clothes that you don't mind getting a bit sweaty in (some classes
more than others!).
A
good tip is to layer up. That way you will always ensure you
have enough clothing to be cool or, in the case of Fitness Pilates,
warm enough. Using layers means you won't be either too hot or
too cold - this means you can just focus on having fun and getting
the best out of your exercise session!
Footwear - for Zumba you need to wear a pair of trainers which you
find comfortable. They should ideally be worn trainers (the
tread/grip quite worn down) or trainers specifically designed for
dance (spin spots on the sole). Running trainers are not ideal
for Zumba as running shoes are designed to propel you forward and
are not designed for lateral (side) or twisting movements.
In Fitness Pilates you can either take the class barefoot or wear a
pair of socks for extra warmth. Make sure you bring your mat
along with you too!
