HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your families and fantastic New Year as well! 2011 was quite a year for me personally – becoming a mummy and watching my little miss getting bigger every day. Christmas was absolutely brilliant – even though she’s still too young to understand, mummy and daddy had a BLAST opening up toys and baby clothes that Santa had delivered!
Well it’s the first day of January and I bet, just like me, you guys are reflecting on 2011 and considering your goals and aspirations for 2012. For me, I want to make sure I spend as much time as I can with my little one as the days go so fast – she’ll be going to school before I know it! I’m now also getting down to business to get myself back to the size 8 I was last early December before getting pregnant and in a bid to keep my stress levels low I’m going to start participating in an Iyengar Yoga class which I’m really looking forward to! I’d also like 2012 to be the year that Foxy Fitness makes a big impact on the lives of people in Barnsley. We’ve got lots of unique ideas in the pipeline that I can guarantee you WILL NOT get anywhere else!
I hope that 2012 brings you all everything you wish for and of course, if you need any help or advice reaching your health and fitness aspirations – just get in touch!
I’d just like to finish off by saying a HUGE thank you to Hannah and Jem for the cover they provided whilst I was off – you girls are true stars! Jem – I wish you all the luck in the world with your move to Australia – I hope it’s everything you dreamed of and more!

Hope you’re all ok and had a brilliant Christmas – I did. :0) The past couple of weeks have been so nice – I had a lovely Christmas which I got to spend with my family and friends so couldn’t ask for more than that.
I also got to meet up with the Foxy Fitness girls (which doesn’t happen all too often) for our Christmas do (and also for lunch the next day lol) and we were certainly busting some moves out on the dancefloor that night – a lot of fun. :0)
Now to the more important stuff – I don’t know about you guys but I’ve fallen off the wagon and dipped into the quality streets tin (ok and the celebrations tin too ;0) ) so I’m ready to get back to Zumba and get back on track – who’s with me?? Come on guys n gals, it’s time to get off the sofa and get back to your weekly workouts – I’ll see you in class right??
Last but not least I would like to say a MASSIVE good luck to Jem of Foxy Fitness who has decided to follow her dreams and move to Australia – it was lovely working with you Jem and I wish you all the best for the future. Keep in touch.

Hope you are all well and had a fabulous Christmas. Cant believe how quick the festivities are going! Im glad in a way so we can get back to normal and get back to exercising and bringing some fun new routines to our classes. I start my classes again on Tuesday 3 January 7.00pm at Bentley Pavilion, it would be great to see you all there for some serious wiggling ang giggling

We have some new routines and some amazing new Bokwa steps where we can sweat the alphabet and dance the digits!! Come along and give Bokwa a try its fun and you will be hooked…

I’ve had a lovely week spending time with family and friends and chilling out, and I hope you have too. It’s been really nice to catch up with friends and just relax for a couple of weeks.

What’s new…..
Bootcamp is back! We’ve given it a makeover for 2012 and there are now 2 packages you can book onto depending on what level of support you feel you need. We’re also running our Bootcamp @ Home again after the success our girls had in December! Go to www.foxy-fitness.com/what-we-offer/fearless-female-bootcamp or www.foxy-fitness.com/what-we-offer/bootcamp-home to secure your place before we kick off on Monday 9 January 2012!- BRAND NEW dance program coming in February – details will be released very, very soon so make sure you sign up to our mailing list so you get the details!!!!! This dance program is unique to Foxy Fitness (as we’ve created it!) and we know you’re gonna love it!
- Saturday morning Fitness Pilates class starting 14 January 2012 – to book your spot get in touch with hannah@foxy-fitness.com!!
Any class changes or cancellations???
- Unfortunately Nikki is unable to return to her Barnsley Academy Zumba class and as we have been unable to secure another instructor to take over the class it will unfortunately be removed from our class timetable. Fear not!!!! There is a Zumba class 10 minutes down the road in Monk Bretton with Hannah so you guys can still get your shake on, on Monday nights. The class time is exactly the same!
- Hannah’s Zumba class on Wednesday at the Holiday Inn returns on Wednesday 11 January 2012 as the venue is not available on the 4th.
- Louise’s Bokwa Class has moved to a new venue called “The Junction”. Please see our Class Timetable for more details.
- SNOW UPDATES. As I’m sure you guys may remember this time last year we were inundated with the stuff! Shops shut, roads completely impassable – it was a complete nightmare! Being the annoyance that it is the snow can quickly go from a light covering to a few inches deep within a matter of hours meaning class cancellations can (and unfortunately, last year, did) happen very last minute. Make sure you are signed up to our text message service (details just below) AND become our fan on Facebook/follow us on Twitter. Wherever possible we WILL keep running our classes for you!

Birthday Bonus
When you first attend a Foxy Fitness class you are asked to fill in a Par-Q to determine if you are healthy and well enough to participate in a fitness class.
Once you’ve handed in your completed form you will either be given a card with your name and month of birth on there and then or (if it’s a particularly busy class!) one will be waiting for you on the paying in table after class. Don’t forget to pick it up if it’s the latter!
This card entitles you to a free session during your birthday month as a little treat from all of us at Foxy Fitness. All you need to do is bring your Birthday Bonus card along to the session and we will sign off your freebie!. Then you just pop it back in your purse until next year!
